Gabriel Garcìa Màrquez used to say that everything in his life happened before he was eight, and it was magic. After that, nothing happened. You could also find the interview on the Internet where he speaks about that; memorable.

All the times you study/work, try to find relations with the fundamental three Ms: Meaningful, Memorable, Measurable. It means that you have to do something meaningful, having connections with something memorable in order to give you measurable results, progress you can see.
